The Deadman Walks, While The Animal Skins

In a Fatal Four-Way of former Champions, it was the Phenom who left Pittsburgh still the World Heavyweight Champion. But what happened after the match left the audience pleading for mercy.

Just 2 days removed from his successful title defense against CM Punk, the Undertaker had to once again protect "the Holy Grail," not only from Punk, but from "The Master of the 619," Rey Mysterio, and "The Animal," Batista. In a dangerous predicament where the champion doesn't even have to be pinned, The Undertaker proves why he is a walking Legend in the WWE. In addition, CM Punk continues to prove that he will undertake any situation head on, and continue to strive for a 4th title reign.

But, another story played out during the match, and it was between two former friends. Batista went into the match, possibly with the greatest approval rate of capturing the gold, only to be stopped by Rey Mysterio. When Batista went for the cover on Taker, Mysterio broke the count as he felt that he too deserves another title reign. The distraction caused Batista to be lured in a Tombstoned ending, marking another title defense for The Deadman.

After the match, Mysterio tried to hug it out, but when Josh Matthews interviewed the two, Batista's words were not so friendly. Batista then destroyed Mysterio, who was like a brother to him, until officials came to intervene. Finally... Batista turns heel again! We haven't seen this since 2002, and despite the lack of faces on SmackDown, Batista makes a better heel than a face.
