RAW Results: 3/22/10 - Final RAW to WrestleMania

Shawn Michael's Final Week?

There were mixed reactions over Shawn Michaels past accomplishments. Defeating Bret Hart for the WWE Title, and coming close to ending Taker's Streak. Now, something that has been an overall giveaway of Michaels' pending doom at 'Mania is WWE's release of "My Journey" DVD set which chronicles Michaels' career. Michaels reassures everyone that there will be a volume 2. And after 'Mania he will be forever known as the man who ended the Streak.

To intimidate Michaels, Taker throws down the lights and shows a video package spanning Shawn's life, ending with the solem words "Shawn Michaels Career will Rest in Peace."

Pete Rose issued Shawn Michaels a match against Kane, and it will be contested in either pinfall or submission. Pete Rose has not forgotten what Kane did to him years ago at WrestleMania (piledriver), and knows Michaels is the man for the job.

Morrison versus Miz: WrestleMania caliber?
John Morrison vs. The Miz

Former tag team partners now find themselves on opposing sides at this year's WrestleMania. Last year, The Miz and John Morrison teamed up in a losing effort against the Colons in what was the creation of the Unified Tag Team Titles. The Miz finally became the Unified Tag Team Champion after defeating D-X with The Big Show several weeks ago. And at WrestleMania, Miz will be defending those titles against the man that carried him, who made him into a superstar, John Morrison along with R-Truth.

Since going their separate ways via the draft, these two have squared off in the ring on more than one occasion. But the result has always been the same, The Miz rising on top. As part of the action from two weeks ago (Show def. Morrison, Truth def. Miz), John Morrison took on The Miz while his tag team partner will take on The Big Show this Friday on SmackDown.

Honestly, Morrison-Miz should be the WrestleMania match, instead of a tag team match. Miz and Morrison work best together as a team, and definitely against one another. The final Dirt Sheet promo prior to Bragging Rights is only a sampling of what these two can do. This feud is still fresh and could have very well made it to the Show of Shows.

John Morrison defeated Miz in a classic match, only to be ruined with a commercial break. The record for Miz is 0-2 against Truth and Morrison in single matches, can Big Show even the score with another victory this SmackDown?

Kofi Kingston: 10th and Final Money in the Bank Qualifier

Ever since Drew McIntyre became the 9th qualifier (unheard of in years past) the need for a 10th qualifier was evident. Who better than to have Kofi Kingston, a superstar that had been receiving a push back in the fall. But the winter season slowed down Kofi's push for some reason.

During this exact time last year, Shawn Michaels delivered Vladimir's first loss to gain the right to take on The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Now, a year later, Kozlov jobbed to Kofi Kingston.

Randy Orton becoming a Fan Favorite?
Triple-H and Randy Orton vs. Legacy and Sheamus

It doesn't matter who wins at WrestleMania as long as Orton doesn't? If there is anything that Legacy learned from Orton is to have an ego. And in their promo, signs of a struggle exist. A triple threat means every man for themselves, there are no friends.

During the match, Rhodes and DiBiase kept Triple-H in their corner, making frequent tags. Sheamus entered the fray by attacking Hunter on the outside (without referee's nohow) and was legally tagged in.

Then when Orton was tagged in, the crowd really popped. Orton was taking out Rhodes, DiBiase, and Sheamus one by one. With side scoop slams, and arm lock back breakers, Orton was short of one RKO to win it. Yet, trying to Hang DDT Rhodes, Orton was kicked in the face by Sheamus, leading to a pinfall victory for the Celtic Warrior. With that said, the WWE Universe will be behind Triple-H and Randy Orton in their respective matches.

Bret Beat Vince, or Bret still Screwed?

Bret Hart made it clear that his match against Vince will be the apex of his career. Past WrestleMania memories include Bret defeating Piper for the I-C title, his World Title win against Yokozuna, his Iron Match against Michaels, and his match against Owen. This match will be Bret Hart's cleansing from the whole Montreal Screw job. But Vince has vowed that Bret will be screwed one way or another.

Shawn's Journey Continues?
Shawn Michaels vs. Kane

Shawn Michaels could very well lose this Sunday's match against The Undertaker, and therefore his career will be over. As mentioned by Pete Rose, this match against Kane must be won by either pinfall or submission.

Knowing this, Michaels attempted various submission maneuvers: Crippler Crossface and The Ankle Lock. Moves made famous by past WrestleMania opponents Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. Shawn Michaels, going into his possible final match, must bring everything that he has learned from every opponent he has ever faced in order to take down The Undertaker. And just like Pete Rose said, there is no one better to end the Streak than Michaels.

Taker, getting back at Michaels for last week, appeared to deliver a chokeslam. Then Taker disappeared and Kane went for the pinfall, but Michaels kicked out. Michaels won with a superkick, and looks to use all the lessons learned on his Journey to face the only man that ever mattered, The Undertaker.

A 2 Diva Squash Masquerading in a 6-Diva Tag

On one side of the ring, Eve Torres, Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix with Mickie James and Kelly-Kelly at ringside. On the other side, Michelle McCool, Layla, Maryse with Alicia Fox and Vickie Guerrero at ringside. This could have been a showcase of implosion of Divas from both SmackDown-RAW, but it ended shortly.

Gail Kim took on Michelle McCool and struck with some fast offense. But Gail's failed jack knife pin attempt, was countered into a pin, then into a Faith Breaker pinfall victory. What was the point of the rest of these Divas. The WWE fans were expecting a hard fought match, and turned into a disappointing showcase of what WWE fails to realize. Fans want to see women wrestlers wrestle good matches, just look at TNA's product.

This Divas Match could actually become a WrestleMania match. By the way, it was great to see Mickie James walking about as she heals from her knee injury, or taking a break from promoting her music album.

The Final Faceoff, really?

Batista claims that John Cena has never defeated him. They only had one match at Summerslam two years ago. And Batista called Cena a corporate product, he is right, but so is he. Both Cena and Batista are products of the WWE that cannot make it anywhere else. As the fans chanted "He can't wrestle!"

Batista trying to get major heat from the fans, and Cena gaining sympathy from them leads this main event into a disappointing upset. We all know that Cena will become the WWE Champion for the 7th or 8th time. Unless WWE are smart and have Batista win in order to give him some credibility.

RAW 3/15/10 - 100% Stone Cold RAW

WWE's past vs WWE's present

Oh how far WWE has fallen... When John Cena stood in the same presence as Stone Cold Steve Austin, the fans of the Attitude Era wept. Stone Cold Steve Austin may not seem like much of a wrestler, but he was a technician in the ring who went grip for grap with "The Excellence of Execution" Bret Hart.

Now, during the post-Attitude Era, we have John Cena. Did Stone Cold pass the proverbial torch to Cena, or just acknowledge's him as the new face of the WWE? John Cena has never been the technician that Stone Cold was, he has been nothing more than a performer, an entertainer. The torch, if any, was not passed down by Stone Cold, but by Hulk Hogan. The post-Attitude Era resembles that of the Federation years, when Hulkamania ran wild, and everyone wore the Hogan t-shirts and bandanas. Now, everyone wears Cena t-shirts and headbans.

Big Show vs. John Cena

The first WrestleMania Rewind was John Cena vs. The Big Show. Reliving WrestleMania XX, when John Cena defeated The Big Show to capture the United States Title.

Each and everytime these two step into the ring, Cena must always try to lift Show for the Attitude Adjustment. And each time he does, Cena collapses under Show's weight. In addition, this is the only match up when Big Show is considered the underdog.

And if you happen to disagree with Cena's comparison to the Hulkster, then think of it this way, no one thought that Hogan could scoop slam Andre the Giant, but at WrestleMania III it happened. And not only was Big Show once gimmicked as the son of Andre the Giant, but it was deemed impossible to pick him up for the fireman's carry throw. But at WrestleMania XX, not only did John Cena execute the Attitude Adjuster, but he catipulted his career.

Yet, this time around there would be no Attitude Adjuster, but a knock out punch by The Big Show. It wasn't due to Show's dominance whatsoever, but a lucky distraction from an angry Batista.

The Weakest of the Weak
Kelly-Kelly vs. Maryse

Kelly-Kelly received a bigger crowd reaction than the Divas' Champion Maryse, not only in sex appeal but in wrestling ability. How bad of a wrestler is Maryse when Kelly-Kelly is carrying the match? As we have seen several times against Gail Kim, Maryse does not execute a single wrestling maneuver except for her French-Kiss DDT.

Despite carrying the match and connecting with the K2 leg drop, Kelly-Kelly lost via the French-Kiss DDT. Maryse then started kicking Kelly-Kelly until Gail Kim and Eve came to her aid.

Yet, instead of having Katie Lea, Alicia Fox, or Jillian Hall come to Maryse's aid, RAW was invaded by SmackDown's "Simply-Flawless" crew. Sadly, Eve, who has been getting a steady push, was easily tossed out of the ring by Layla, no less. Then she was kicked in the side of the face by McCool.

Thanks to the assist and lack of acknowledgment by Simply-Flawless, the Divas' Champion has never looked weaker.

Celtic Warrior's Claim to Dethrone the King of Kings
Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne

A laughable concept to believe that Evan Bourne can take on the Celtic Warrior, and to think that Bourne's 4-win streak would be tarnished. Surprisingly, Evan did not lose, but he didn't win either. No, the match never started because Sheamus destroyed Bourne before the bell even rung.

The exhibition of Sheamus' strenght is a testament to what the first-ever Irish born WWE Champion brings to the table. His hopes was to defend the WWE Title at WrestleMania, but thanks to The Game, Triple-H, Sheamus got something he desired more, and that is a one-on-one match with the best in the business. A match up against Triple-H at WrestleMania will indeed skyrocket his career, whether or not he wins.

WrestleMania is where legends are made. Undertaker can attests to that when he scored his first victory over "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka at WrestleMania VII, which would be the start of his legendary streak. Shawn Michaels, though not an impressive win record, has proven every year why he is Mr. WrestleMania. Can the Celtic Warrior become a legend and take over the King of Kings' throne?

The Rated-R Spear!
Shawn Michaels vs Jericho

WrestleMania Rewinds means jack squat in the realm of the WWE. Its not about living in the past, its about looking towards the future. We saw it with Cena's match against Big Show, and this match was no different.

Michaels vowed to destroy Jericho in order to send a message to Undertaker; because not even Stone Cold believes that Michaels can end the streak.

Reliving WrestleMania XIX, Shawn and Chris returned once again to the ring. But let us not forget that these two had a hell of a feud during the end of 2008. Chris Jericho attempted to choke out Michaels with a sleeper, then went for the patent lionsault, but was countered by Michaels' lifted knees. Then, knowing Michaels' back history, tried slapping on the Walls of Jericho, but Michaels managed to break loose.

Michaels, showing everyone why he is the Showstopper, struck with an atomic drop, the emphatic elbow drop from the top turnbuckle, and tried ending it with some Sweet Chin Music. But Jericho rolled out and counted himself out.

Now, either my WWE knowledge proceeds me, or WWE has become too predictable. Seeing as Vickie and LayCool came from SmackDown to RAW, there was no doubt that Edge had managed to tag along. "You think you know me," actually Edge, I know more than you think. Edge appeared at the top of the ramp and attacked Jericho. Then when Edge struck Jericho with another spear in the center of the ring, the crowd were on their feet cheering. Then the exclamation point, Edge whispers to Jericho "spear..."

The crowds reaction may be a sign of Edge becoming an emphatic fan favorite. It can also attribute for RAW's need of real wrestling talent.

No Respect for Mentors
Triple-H vs. Randy Orton

John Cena vs. Randy Orton may have been considered "the" feud of recent WWE history, but one that has been equally as memorable has been Triple-H vs. Randy Orton. Ranging from the days of Evolution until now, there has always been a heated rivalry between Orton and his mentor.

It has been announced that at WrestleMania, Randy Orton will take on Legacy in a Triple Threat Match. Orton's thoughts on the match and his WrestleMania Rewind with Triple-H comes down to respect. Despite their disagreements, Orton respects Triple-H, but he doesn't respect Ted DiBiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes.

In a Triple-H-Randy Orton match, what can you except from two methodical technicians? Triple-H, knowing Randy so well, escaped a hanging DDT only to be struck with a modified hanging DDT on the outside. Randy kick out from a spine buster, but failed to strike with the RKO, which was countered into a pedigree.

However, the match never saw its conclusion because Rhodes and DiBiase attacked Triple-H and tossed him out of the ring. They did this in order to redirect their attention to Randy. But before Triple-H could fire back at the young Legacy, Sheamus came out of nowhere to deliver the bicycle kick.

There was a moment of pensive thought between Rhodes and DiBiase as they were being starred down by Sheamus, before carefully leaving the ring and dragging Orton with them. Sheamus may be the youngest member of the RAW roster, next to Yoshi Tatsu, but he is a man that has certainly captured the respect from both Rhodes and DiBiase.

At WrestleMania: Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Cody Rhodes (Triple-Threat Match)

The Animal Sees Red
Batista vs. Kofi Kingston

Batista's legitimate hatred towards John Cena is underlined by the notion that Stone Cold has passed the proverbial torch on to him. Yet, instead of confronting The Texan Rattlesnake, Batista had a grueling display of barbaric strength against Kofi Kingston.

As much as it was forced on to the fans, Batista vs. John Cena will indeed happen at WrestleMania. And the outcome has been determined since WrestleMania 21. John Cena has proven his unyielding strength last week after he kicked out of 5 finishers, and earlier, when he nonchalantly struck Big Show with the 5 knuckle shuffle.

But after having his face cut open by Kofi Kingston's double kick, then viciously clotheslining Kingston in mid-air followed by numerous Batista Bombs, Batista has tipped the scales in his favor. As part of WWE's No-Blood policy, the referee must medically clean the cut as soon as it is visible, but Batista would not allow it. Batista's disregard of the No-Blood policy may be attributed to his desire to have been a part of the Attitude Era, and staking his claim of being the rightful successor of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

McMahon stuck between a Stone Cold and a Hart Place

Thirteen years ago, Bret may have screwed Bret, and recently, Vince may have screwed Bret, but chosing Stone Cold as the guest host, Vince screwed Vince. In a contract signing between these combustible elements, there is only one man that can keep these guys in check, and that is the guy who had been whipping their asses since the start - Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Stone Cold Steve Austin had an intense feud with Bret Hart back in '96, and, who can dare forget, the feud that highlighted the Attitude Era against McMahon. Knowing these guys full well, Steve Austin assessed the situation and declared that Stu Hart would indeed be inducted into this year's WWE Hall of Fame.

Bret Hart made one request regarding their match at WrestleMania, that it be contested as a No Holds Barred Match. McMahon consented and reminded Bret if he did not show up for their match that he would sue him for all he's worth.

Stone Cold made the official declaration that Bret Hart would face McMahon at WrestleMania in a No Holds Barred Match. Then one other announcement was made, but it wasn't from Steve Austin.

The horrendously executed car accident was indeed meant to be fake because Bret Hart wanted to lure McMahon in, not only a match at 'Mania, a No Holds Barred Match at 'Mania. And if McMahon skips out of their match, Bret will sue McMahon for all he's worth.

RAW Results: 3/8/10 - Possible Outcomes

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker II, possible outcomes

After last week's distraction that cost D-X the titles, Shawn Michaels has come to the conclusion that the Undertaker is afraid. The Phenom has always won at WrestleMania, but no one has ever put their career on the line.

Unlike last year, when Shawn Michaels would have been content on a count-out, Michaels wants this match to end in either pinfall or submission; therefore, Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels the Rematch, will not only place Michaels' career on the line, but it will be a no disqualification match.

The scenario of either Michaels' career ending, or Undertaker's streak ending, is unimaginable. Since WWE released a Shawn Michaels 3-Disc DVD set called "My Journey," is the journey of Mr. WrestleMania coming to an end, at WrestleMania? And what actually happens if Undertaker were to lose at 'Mania? Would his character die again, as it has several times before? If Undertaker were to lose this match, I don't see the majesty of his character going any further than that point. But again, I cannot see Undertaker losing to anyone else, except for The Showstopper; because the idea of a young up and comer ending the streak is upsurd. If the Streak must end, let it be against someone equal to his legendary status.

Best outcome for Triple-H and Sheamus Match

Sheamus was wrongly cheated out of his automatic rematch for the WWE Title that he lost at the Elimination Chamber, thanks to Triple-H. He is bringing the fight to Triple-H and it will take place in a big way, at WrestleMania.

According to Helmsley, Sheamus has had the best first year of his career but it means nothing if he hasn't been to WrestleMania.

When Triple-H was younger, much like Sheamus now, he felt unstoppable, and confronted the top guy. But after losing that match, he scratched and clawed his way so he could be the top guy that wrestlers would want to beat. After a decade and a half of dominance, Triple-H is indeed the top superstar in the business, and he has accepted Sheamus' challenge for WrestleMania.

This could end either one of two ways: Triple-H will humble himself to put Sheamus over; or, he will decimate him. The best possible scenario would involve a hard-hitting, grueling match where Triple-H comes out on top. If Sheamus were to win this match, there would be nothing else for him to prove. The problem is, that Sheamus has gone over several wrestlers, but he has yet to go over with the fans. At WrestleMania, Sheamus needs to earn the fans' respect with an honest match.

Elimination Chamber: WWE Champion not in Elimination Chamber

John Cena forced into immediate title defense; Batista New WWE Champion.

Over and again we are reminded that only two men in history have successfully defended their titles inside the Elimination Chamber: Triple-H and John Cena. What kind of match can you expect when both of these men are locked inside the same chamber seeking to become the WWE Champion? Will the Celtic Warrior be added to that list, or will he become another victim of the "Chamber of Horrors," as Triple-H has aptly named.

The WWE Champion, Sheamus, and Kofi Kingston started the match, followed by Triple-H, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase Jr., and John Cena. Prior to setting foot inside the chamber, Kofi kept one eye behind his back for any unsuspecting attackers, in regards to Edge stealing his spot in last year's Elimination Chamber match. Kofi managed to outlast the 5 minute mark against Sheamus, who has been known to make short work of his opponents; allowing for another superstar to enter the fray. Yet, at about the 23 minute mark, Kofi was literally placed into a tight situation when his head was shoved in between the chains of the chamber's walls and was brutally punished by both Orton and DiBiase. Despite the situation, Kofi managed to strike back by eliminating an unsuspecting DiBiase with Trouble in Paradise kick. Shortly afterwards, Kofi would suffer a Celtic Cross pin from Sheamus, thus, eliminating him from the match.

Randy Orton and DiBiase worked together for the most part, despite on going deterioration within the Legacy faction. However, the same mistakes that D-X undergoes during these type of matches, led to neither member of Legacy from leaving the chamber with the strap. Cody Rhodes came "to the rescue" with a lead pipe he slipped into the chamber. DiBiase used the pipe to strike Cena from executing the Attitude Adjustment on Orton, but instead of pinning Cena, DiBiase hooked the leg of Orton for the first elimination of the night. Maybe Cody Rhodes just needs to stop helping, because this is the third time that his "help" has cost Orton the title.

Unlike other superstars, Sheamus has had a lot to prove being the company's top champion; but WWE has done a poor job of building Sheamus as its champion. Sheamus' Title win over Cena at TLC 2009, was a poorly executed, lackluster, title match. The only reason that the match received the recognition that it did was due to the shock factor. In addition, Sheamus, since becoming champion, has fought powerhouse superstars like John Cena and Randy Orton, but always won via disqualification. Even his matches with Evan Bourne weakened his championship status, because, before being brutally beaten down, Bourne came close to pinning the champion. As for this match, it was make or break for the Celtic Warrior, and after eliminating Kofi Kingston, only Cena and Triple-H remained. Sheamus almost came close to eliminating John Cena with the Celtic Cross, and it would have been a major notch in his WWE belt, but he was silenced by, behind-the-scenes mentor, Triple-H; which, if captioned, would read "You're good, just not WrestleMania good."

Up to this point, the RAW Elimination Chamber was great, but what should have been the climax between the only two men in Elimination Chamber history to retain their titles, was wearisome. But what can you expect from a confrontation that has been dragged out for five years. Not letting Sheamus eliminate John Cena turned out to be a fatal mistake for Triple-H, as he lifelessly tapped out to Cena's STF.

Since WrestleMania 21, John Cena has always been inserted into the title picture, either as a defending champion or a contender; and it would appear that WrestleMania XXVI would be no different, until Mr. McMahon showed up. Vince congratulated Cena for winning the WWE Championship and that he would be headlining WrestleMania; that is if he could successfully defend the title against Batista, which would take place immediately. Sound familiar, because it should? Because when John Cena successfully defended his WWE Title inside the Elimination Chamber match at New Year's Revolution 2006, Edge cashed in his MitB briefcase for an immediate title shot which bought him his first WWE Title. Five years and 7 more World Titles later, John Cena's second Elimination Chamber ended the same way, with an immediate title defense which crowned Batista as the new WWE Champion in an astonishing 32 seconds.

Within the first 40 minutes of the pay-per-view, the fans witnessed Sheamus losing the WWE Title, John Cena winning the chamber along with the WWE Title, and then Batista beating Cena for the WWE Title right afterwards. Honestly, the storyline with Bret Hart and Vince McMahon, along with the rivalry between Batista and John Cena, should not need the WWE Title to be at stake. Bret Hart and Vince can have a street fight and settle the whole thing; Batista and Cena could have found another way to settle the issue without sucking the prestige out of the WWE Title. Batista, for lack of a better rant, is the most accident prone wrestler that the WWE has to offer. Have WWE forgotten about Extreme Rules 2009, Batista's steel cage match against Orton for the WWE Title? Batista injured himself halfway through the match, won the title, and was stripped of it the following night, as it was staged as a beat down by Legacy. The ending of the match, along with the "shocker" of Batista swooping in just left a bad taste in my mouth.

RAW Results: 2/15/10

RAW's Elimination Entries: Who Holds the Momentum?

Last week, Carl Edwards assigned three main-events to take place this week: Randy Orton vs. Sheamus; Kofi Kingston vs. Ted DiBiase Jr.; and John Cena vs. Triple-H. Much like last week on SmackDown, these matches pitted the entrants of the Elimination Chamber in singles competition. But who has the most momentum going for them this Sunday?

Randy Orton versus Sheamus

This Sunday Sheamus will have to defend the WWE Title inside the Elimination Chamber against five other guys. Announcers have stated that defeating John Cena for the WWE Title and winning against Randy Orton at The Royal Rumble were tests of his ability to lead the company. However, Sheamus will undergo his true test, not only as a superstar but as a champion, in a title defense where he cannot escape via count-out or disqualification.

Randy Orton, on the other hand, has been trying to regain the WWE Championship, but Legacy seems to always get in the way. Sheamus won the match again via disqualifications thanks to Cody Rhodes.

Legacy tried apologizing, but Orton struck Cody with an RKO, while Sheamus bicycle kicked DiBiase in the face. Then Orton struck the WWE Champion with another RKO.

As of this point, Orton is carrying the momentum.

Ted DiBiase Jr. versus Kofi Kingston

Ted DiBiase and Kofi Kingston have a profound opportunity to capture the World Title at an early stage in their career. The feat may seem far-fetched, but Sheamus lasted no more than 6 months before scoring the WWE Title.

Kofi was actually suppose to partake in the Elimination Chamber last year, but was ambushed by a frustrated Edge who had lost the WWE Title in an earlier chamber match. Despite his recent push back in November, the momentum has faded from Kofi Kingston.

Ted DiBiase, fighting at half speed after being kicked in the face by Sheamus, managed to pick up the victory. He evaded a high flying move from Kingston and locked in Dream Street.

DiBiase, despite being struck in the face by the champion, proves his resiliency by taking down Kofi Kingston in a clean victory.

Triple-H versus John Cena

It was been said that this was a WrestleMania worthy main event. Yes, we get that seeing as Triple-H tapped out to Cena at WM22. Then Triple-H retained his title against Cena at Night of Champions '08. And again, Triple-H defeated Cena the RAW prior to Bragging Rights. These two have faced each other so many times that the hype is gone.

John Cena is probably one of the most limited superstars on the roster when it comes to technique, but the robotic maneuvers of Triple-H are no better. Whenever Triple-H gets Irish-whipped to the ropes, he hooks his arm to fling himself over. It is one of H's weakest selling points.

My prediction on the finish was for either Michaels or Batista to interfere; yet, it was Sheamus who threw his WWE Title in the ring, and delivered a bicycle kick to Triple-H in a middle of a Pedigree set up. Cena attempted to out maneuver Sheamus, but was also knocked down. And for the exclamation point, Sheamus hoisted H is the air and executed The Celtic Cross.

The three riding the wave of momentum are Orton, DiBiase, and Sheamus. I'm actually disappointed with how these past two weeks played out. Why are these six competitors chosen to seal their fate inside an Elimination Chamber, what are their connections to one another? Where are the speeches, the animosity?

Simply stated: Three weeks was not enough to choose entries and establish a meaningful build-up. And Elimination Chamber, another themed pay-per-view (occurring for it's third year), serves only one purpose: to establish the champions heading to WrestleMania.

Mr. Ballin' Came to Play

Last week, ShoMiz became the new Unified Tag Team Champions, defeating D-X. Yet, with a no.1 contender's match taking place last week on ECW, has D-X forfeited their rematch clause?

Before their title match on the final episode of ECW, ShoMiz had to deal with The World's Strongest Tag Team. Why in the world did MVP and Mark Henry reunite? Their tag team days were dead and buried for months, but for some reason they came together to score an upset on ShoMiz.

Now that The Miz holds both the United States and Unified Tag Team Titles, MVP has found the one person to grant him what he desperately wants... a chance to relive the height of his career in 2007.

Jerry Springer Segment: A Giant Waste of Time

Need I say more? Really? Okay... WWE is Rated-PG, and Kelly-Kelly announces that not only is she pregnant, she is unsure of who the father is. List of candidates that could've dipped their pen in the company's ink: Santino Marella, Chris Masters, The Great Khali, Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Hornswoggle. Then of course The Bellas reveal that Brie is actually a man. And then Eve Torres, really badly, portrays the jealous girlfriend of Chris Masters and gets into a fight with Kelly-Kelly.

This was revealed to be a set-up. Yes, we understand that wrestling is fake, but we are not stupid. It was actually intended to reveal Springer's love interest, Mae Young. Just like Ranjin Singh stated: This was a giant waste of time.

Brutally Tacky: Bret Hart Accident

The fact that Bret Hart has nothing new to say means that he has over stayed his welcome. Either have the match at WrestleMania or don't. And seeing as Mr. McMahon already declined Bret's offer to a WrestleMania match, and took back his nomination for inducting Stu Hart into this year's Hall of Fame, Bret really has nothing left to do with WWE. It was all very anti-climatic.

And when did John Cena become his best friend? John Cena wasn't even present on the historic night (Jan. 4th) when he came back. But yet he is the only one defending Bret against McMahon, and Batista apparently.

Then backstage, Bret Hart being greeted by the mid-carders. Is he suppose to be inspiring the next generation of superstars that if they reach their dreams, they can be humilated into a broken down old man?

Finally, the greatest travisty was having Bret Hart hit by a car. Who in the world reverses into a parked limo in an underground parking lot? The woman was revealed to be Mrs. Hickenbottom (Shawn's wife). Is Shawn Michaels executing McMahon's dirty work, by taking out Bret in order to get his shot against The Undertaker's Streak?

This car angle was probably a bigger lack of creativity than the Jerry Springer segment. I was looking forward to a Bret-McMahon WrestleMania bout, to bring closure to the whole thing, even if it was a street fight. But so help me, if it turns into a McMahon-Trump match and we end up watching Cena-Batista in their places...

ECW vs. WWE, The Better Champion is...?

In two weeks, The WWE Champion Sheamus will have to defend his title inside the Elimination Chamber. There is a strong possibility that Sheamus will lose the title, but he demanded from RAW Guest Host Carl Edwards to make him the final entry into the Elimination Chamber.

You can close your eyes, but not against ECW Champion Christian who interrupted the WWE Champion. Christian remarked on Edge's appearance on RAW last week and mentioned that his Championship Match could either be for the WWE or World Heavyweight Champion, leaving him quite peeved that the ECW Title was not taken into consideration. But McMahon's announcement of the cancellation of ECW put the pieces together. In two weeks, all the ECW superstars become free agents, meaning they are free to join up any show they see fit, and Christian decided to test the waters on RAW before making his decision.

In order to test the waters, Christian demanded a match against Sheamus to see who the better champion was. Well, in two weeks, the ECW Title will become vacant, making Christian the final and longest running ECW Champion in WWE history.

As for the match, Christian is used to taking on opponents that outmatch him in size, but he usually relies on his speed and agility to get the job done. But what happens when your opponent is equally as fast? Christian held off Sheamus better than I have ever seen anyone do, and possibly one of my favorite Christian matches since his return in 2009. Christian even almost got the pin after a tornado DDT, but Sheamus powered out. In the end, Christian could not evade a second Bicycle kick, and the exclamation point, the Celtic Cross.

The New Unified Tag Team Champions - ShoMiz (Like Show-Biz)

Minutes... seconds... that's all it takes for titles to change hands, and it happened in a big way on Monday Night RAW. D-Generation-X put the Unified Tag Team Titles on the line against The Straightedge Society, and The Show-Miz in a Triple Threat Elimination Match.

First off, fabulous tag team match; and finally, WWE created a stipulation where three people in a tag team match could fight at the same time, unlike those Fatal Four-way Tag Team Matches where only two competitors are allowed in the ring at a time.

There was a nice mixture of wrestlers in the ring, from the middle-weights: Shawn vs. Miz vs. C.M. Punk and the heavyweights: Triple-H vs. Big Show vs. Luke Gallows. Then at times the combination was meshed, which is great because it allows fresh competition, instead of the stale matches week after week.

After C.M. Punk was super kicked and pinned by Shawn Michaels, team Straightedge were eliminated... thus leaving The Miz and The Big Show fending off against D-Generation-X. Shawn Michaels was occupied with trying to survive against Big Show, who would not let him tag in a fresh Triple-H. Show and Miz however were celebrating too early and taking Shawn Michaels too lightly. He is after all called Mr. WrestleMania for a reason, do not take him lightly, ever.

The tragic story concluded after Triple-H was finally tagged in, and D-X looked to retain their titles, but Shawn Michaels forced tagged himself back in.

The Miz used the distraction between Triple-H and Michaels arguing to roll Michaels up for the win.

The Miz made good on his promises to retain the United States Championship, which he did at The Royal Rumble, and to capture the Unified Tag Team Championships... something he was unable to do with his partner John Morrison during the title's fusion one-year ago at WrestleMania 25.

As for The Big Show, he not only found a new partner in The Miz, who treats him like a person, but is the only man in the WWE to become a 2-time Unified Tag Team Champion. And not only that, he was able to accomplish something that he could not with Chris Jericho, and that is defeat D-Generation-X.

Congratulations to ShoMiz on becoming the New Unified Tag Team Champions.

The Fall of D-X

Last week, Shawn Michaels incurred the worst 24-hours of his life as he lost the Royal Rumble and the qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber. Shawn Michaels dreams of another shot at ending Taker's Streak seemed to have vanished, but he could at least take solace that this would be the first WrestleMania for D-X, right...?

Triple-H had to burst Michaels' bubble by reminding him that though he didn't win his qualifying match, he did. Triple-H has been in five Elimination Chamber matches and won the last four. Winning chamber matches is what Triple-H does, and he will do what he does, and that is win the chamber match, become a 14-World Champion, and go on to headline WrestleMania.

It doesn't come as a surprise that Michaels made a bad decision call when he tagged himself in, costing D-X the Unified Tag Team Titles against ShowMiz. Michaels went to see Teddy Long, who was present to see Straightedge Society in the Triple Threat Elimination, on being traded to SmackDown and taking someone's entry spot in the Elimination Chamber. Michaels plans on moving to SmackDown, taking someone's spot, becoming the World's Champion, and defending his title at WrestleMania against The Undertaker, retaining and thus... end the streak. That's a tall order, however, Teddy is unable to fulfill Michaels' wish.

Triple-H encountered Michaels and demanded that he doesn't just through his career away over this obsession. But Michaels declared that his career was over, and superkicked Teddy Long.

Mole within Legacy?

Last week I spoke about Cody Rhodes and how there was something off with the way the WWE Championship match went down at the Royal Rumble. And now the plot thickens as Cody continues to dispute with Ted DiBiase Jr. and Randy Orton.

Unlike Ted, Cody Rhodes failed to secure a spot in the Royal Rumble and he attributes that loss based on the assigned opposition. Ted defeated Mark Henry, an opponent that all three members of Legacy have defeated on numerous occasions, to secure a spot in the Elimination Chamber; while Cody had to face John Cena in a losing effort. Cody proposed that he had a much tougher opponent, while DiBiase eased by.

Randy Orton then scheduled two matches for the night: DiBiase vs. John Cena, and Cody vs. Randy Orton.

Cody Rhodes' ring prowess has considerably changed, escalating in arrogance and intensity. And for those that have wondered, the reason Rhodes does not wear knee pads is to inflict more damage with his bony knees. Hence, when Cody slapped Orton's hand away from his face and then dropped kicked him, its his evolution.

Predictably, Orton delivered much needed punishment to Cody for costing him the title. A title match, in which Cody appeared to have wanted Orton to lose. If that's not enough to generate some rumors, then how about the fact that Sheamus showed up to distract Orton from an unsuspecting Cody Rhodes, who struck with Cross-Rhodes. Maybe Cody is working for Sheamus, or it can just be a coincidence.

As for Ted DiBiase's match, there was no match... only a beat down from John Cena.

WrestleMania Matches?

John Cena addressed the beat down he received from Batista last week, and called out Mr. McMahon. Vince claims that he didn't hire Batista to take him out, but it was by coincidence. Of course it was by coincidence, because no one told Cena to come to Bret's aid. Cena showed up Batista, and The Animal is not one to be shown up.

Will we indeed see a rematch from the SummerSlam 2008 encounter?

As for McMahon screwing Bret Hart last week yet again, Cena revealed that Bret wants nothing more than to have one more WrestleMania moment against Mr. McMahon. And Vince agreed to have that match, that was until Bret sneeked attacked him.

McMahon's final words were that he would not fight Bret at Mania, because Bret deserves to be screwed.

Thoughts on these pending WrestleMania matches are as follows:

John Cena vs. Batista: If John Cena fails to procure the WWE Title at the Elimination Chamber, this would mark Cena's first WrestleMania where he is not defending or contending for a title. As for Batista, he hasn't had a good WrestleMania since facing Taker at 'Mania 23, so the spotlight he so desires would be on him if he defeats John Cena. Batista defeated John Cena in their last match, and embarrassed him last week on RAW... could he do it again at WrestleMania?

Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon: A few months ago, Rowdy Piper wanted to wrestle Mr. McMahon, but he refused, saying that he was officially retired from wrestling. Yet, when it comes to a guy like Bret Hart, who sufferred a stroke a few years back, and looks physically incapable of wrestling another match, Mr. McMahon cannot wait to strap on his wrestling boots. Bret Hart appears to have gotten closure from Shawn Michaels, but when it comes to Mr. McMahon, they both still harbor hatred for one another. A WrestleMania bout between these two is a dream, but is that all it is? Bret Hart's stroke is not kayfabe, it's a serious disability hindering him from wrestling. The days of the Excellence of Execution are long behind him, and a physical match such as this could have some serious implications on his health.

Royal Rumble: The Road to WrestleMania XXVI

The Royal Rumble kicks off the road to WrestleMania, where the winner gets an express ticket to headline the main event. But who will be the World Heavyweight Champion and the WWE Champion come WrestleMania? Both Taker and Sheamus if successful means nothing, because they can easily lose them in three weeks time at the next pay-per-view: Elimination Chamber. But tonight we witness the pieces coming together, the first piece, Who will headline WrestleMania?

ECW Championship Match: Christian vs. Ezekiel - After all, he is Christian

The end has finally come, it has awakened; but against who? Last week, Ezekiel Jackson pinned Christian in a tag team match, so has the end awakened against Christian?

Since returning to the WWE, Christian has overcome adversity, and became a two-time ECW Champion. He currently holds the record for the longest reign as ECW Champion in the WWE.

Ezekiel Jackson, a few weeks ago, overwhelmed three former ECW Champions to become the #1 contender, and humbled the current ECW Champion just five days before their title match.

Many had doubts if Christian could pull the upset, because he was unable to hook the Killswitch last time. But don't be ready to just declare Ezekiel the new champ. It's easy to win a fight, but can you win the war?

The match exhibited all of Christian's qualities mentioned in a previous post. Christian used his quickness and agility to out pace Ezekiel; and with each evasion, Christian struck with an upper cut.

Ezekiel's strategy was going for big power moves and quick covers. Hence, he struck with a backbreaker and immediately went for the cover, which shows humility and respect to your opponent.

Christian failed to secure the Killswitch four-times, but attempted other moves. He executed a DDT and connected with the Flashpoint; then cinched a sleeper, and missed with the Frog Splash. Lastly, Christian surprised Ezekiel with a 5th Killswitch, after being rammed back first into the ring post, to retain the ECW Title.

United States Championship Match: The Miz vs. MVP - MVP Stuck in the Past

This impromptu title match meant only one thing, either the 30-Man Rumble would be shortened, or one of the three remaining scheduled title matches would be cut short.

The match had a big-time feel to it, because out of nowhere, beyond the knowledge of the fans, we lucked into a bonus title match. Both men, focused on winning the Royal Rumble, provided an excellent match.

The Miz, no doubt on a serge since recreating his look about five months ago, has defended the U.S. Title against every opponent.

Yet, many times throughout the match, it looked to be MVP's time to reign again as the United States Champion; but his showboating is what cost him. The Ballin' Elbow takes way too long and never seals the deal. And when he went for the Playmaker, once again he took precious seconds trying to set the move.

The Miz never struck with finishers Skull Crushing Finale or the Reality Check, but managed to roll up MVP as he was coming through the ropes for another successful title defense.

MVP showed poor sportsmanship when he struck with the Playmaker, letting us to ponder, "Why didn't he do that earlier?"

2007 was the year of MVP. He set a record for the longest U.S. Title reign in the WWE, and captured the Tag Team Titles along with then-rival Matt Hardy. He was the only man since the days of the Attitude Era, at that point, to hold two titles at once.

Yet, what has he been trying to accomplish lately? Forming a team with Mark Henry in an attempt to become a tag team champion, and feuding with Miz to become the U.S. champion for a third time. MVP is trying to recreate 2007, when he should be focused on moving forward rather than backwards.

WWE Championship Match: Sheamus vs. Randy Orton - The Fall of Legacy

Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. have both set their sights on winning the Royal Rumble, which leads to the possibility of a member of Legacy facing off against Randy Orton, if successful, to a WWE Title Match come WrestleMania. With each member expressing concern over the outcome of this match, Orton ordered that neither assist him tonight.

This championship match against Sheamus and Randy Orton was very methodical. The tension had risen as these two superstars stared each other down for a while after the bell had rung. Then they circled around the ring without taking their eyes off the other. And when they finally locked holds, they were at a stalemate, until they broke it, in which Orton slithered rearwards towards the opposing turnbuckle. Both of these men have done unspeakable things to get to this point in their careers and neither would let up.

Sheamus meticulously worked on the arm of The Viper, while Orton explicitly focused on the leg of the Celtic Warrior. King mentioned that this match was gut-check time for Sheamus to prove himself a superstar in the WWE, while Striker counterclaimed that the Tables Match against Cena was gut-check time for Sheamus and came out on top. Both men have a point, albeit that Sheamus became the WWE Champion during that Tables Match, Sheamus has yet to prove that he can defend the title without disqualifying himself.

Yet, Randy Orton's first WWE Championship match since October, did not go as planned as Cody Rhodes ran interference while the referee was looking. Orton managed to strike with the RKO, but the match ended in favor of Sheamus due to disqualification.

The aftermatch witnessed the fall of Legacy as Randy Orton struck Cody Rhodes and slamming his head repeatedly against the mat. Ted DiBiase Jr. arrived to pull Orton off, but suffered a similar fate. Orton continued to stomp the heel of his boot into the sternum of Rhodes shouting the words "You're through!"

Sheamus, still the WWE Champion, struck Orton with a bicycle kick. The true gut-check time for Sheamus will come when he will have to defend the WWE Title inside the unforgiving structure of the Elimination Chamber against five other competitors.

Women's Championship Match: Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James - Mickie Outweighs McCool

Since coming over to SmackDown, Mickie James has suffered humiliation each week by the hands of Lay-Cool. With references of This little piggy and Old McDonald's Farm, McCool attacks Mickie on two levels: her country music aspirations, and her weight problem.

As mentioned earlier, the United States Championship Match could have only meant one of two things: either the Royal Rumble main event would be shortened or one of the scheduled title matches would. And after witnessing the quick Mick-DDT, the answer was that the Women's Title Match would be the one experiencing the cut-back.

Congratulations to Mickie James on becoming a 5-time Women's Champion. A victory much sweeter, especially when dropping a cake over McCool and Layla, while the other divas held them down.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio - A Phenom-enal Match

Rey Mysterio has been the underdog all his life. He's had nightmares, but he has been able to realize his dreams because he concurred his nightmares. But this time, the nightmare comes in the form of The Undertaker. Taker's dominance is unmatched by anyone in the WWE, but could Mysterio gain the upset and become the World Heavyweight Champion for a second time?

The announcers focused on Rey Mysterio's luck at the Royal Rumble, winning it in 2006 and going on to WrestleMania to become champion; but as I recall, UT won the Rumble the following year and captured the World's Title against The Animal Batista. Batista, who has been on a warpath against Rey Mysterio, looks to win the 2010 Royal Rumble for a shot at Undertaker's Title.

Which leads to Mysterio's next added momentum into this title match, no one believes that Mysterio has what it takes to defeat The Undertaker. With Triple-H losing at WrestleMania X-Seven; Batista losing at WrestleMania 23; and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXV, they cannot fathom a little luchadore being able to humble the Deadman.

The match was a well hard fought match, and possibly the best I have seen Mysterio in recent memory. Yet, The Undertaker did not take him lightly, as he did everything he could to ground Mysterio's high flying offense. At the start of the match, Taker threw Mysterio over the top rope, and then decked him in the face as Mysterio tried jumping back into the ring. Mysterio would have to rely on his quickness and unpredictability to score the upset.

Mysterio picked apart the Deadman, from drop kicking him during the Dead Rise, to performing a leg drop from the top turnbuckle, to striking the bad hip of the UT with a baseball slide, Mysterio was closing in.

The Phenom, after the first 619, showed his mortality as his face busted open. For many years, Undertaker has been seen as the Undead, beyond what any human can do, but he bleeds like the rest of us. If he can bleed, he can fall, which Mysterio set out to do, with not one, but two 619's in succession.

Mysterio reached new heights, literally, when Undertaker performed The Last Ride to secure another title defense.

Sheamus and Undertaker have both retained their World Titles at The Royal Rumble and are expected to face off against the winner of the night's Royal Rumble. But before they can headline WrestleMania as the defending champions, they must defend them inside the Elimination Chamber. Titles were certainly change on that night.

The Time for Glow Sticks is Over

We have all heard the question, "Are you ready?" Shawn Michaels wasn't, because he wanted to talk about Triple-H's disregard of his pursuit on ending the Undertaker's streak. Triple-H harshly, but truthfully, states that he will not let anyone get in his way from winning the Rumble and main-eventing at WrestleMania; and for anyone that does not care about striving for the richest prize at WrestleMania, should not even be in the WWE.

Old Foes, New Enemies

D-X fought in the opening match against Legacy, which is a change of pace from their countless weeks staring in the main-event. Legacy, who has had a lot of tension against their leader Randy Orton, has been showing improvement in the ring. Their maturation is partially due to their feud with D-X over the summer, and in part to their willingness to surpass their fathers' legacy. But, in speaking of tension in Legacy, their is also tension between Rhodes and DiBiase Jr., as the two argue who will finally reach for the brass ring, and for the failed attempt to defeat John Cena and Kofi Kingston last week.

As for D-X, while Triple-H set up for the pedigree, Shawn Michaels tagged himself in. This did not bold well for Triple-H as the two stared each other down, provoking an ambush from Legacy. However, they managed to get their head back in the game with HBK striking Ted with Sweet Chin, and Triple-H with a forearm to Cody. Michaels picked up the win and the two held their Unified Tag Team Belts high in triumph. The title were not on the line, but this week on SmackDown, D-Generation-X will defend their titles against the #1 contenders C.M. Punk and Luke Gallows.

M.V.P. Ready for Miz, Really!

Montel Vontavious Porter voiced that Miz can hide behind his "friend" The Big Show, but he cannot run forever from defending the United States Title. The Miz, meanwhile, cannot grasp the concept of why people like MVP, seeing as he was a convicted felon. Miz was a celebrity of reality television, and knows numerous celebrities. MVP responded, "It's because you're a jackass."

MVP's match was not against Miz, but against The Big Show. The pairing of this match was intriguing, seeing as MVP fought Big Show last year in a Last Man Standing Match, with Triple-H's Royal Rumble entry status at stake. This year, however, Big Show made short work of MVP with a devastating chokeslam.

Maryse Gets by on Looks Alone

Maryse, the self-proclaimed Sexiest of the Sexy, proved in the semi-final of the Divas' Tournament that the women on RAW get by on a pretty face, and nothing more. Eve Torres, on the other hand, has actually been trying to become a wrestler, but her inexperience comes at the expense of the wrestling fans. Eve carried the entire match, executing every offensive maneuver, and you would think that she would have advanced? Sadly, after a missed moonsault off the top turnbuckle, Maryse connected with the French Kiss-DDT to move on to the finals.

McMahon Has Brains, but no Courage or Hart

Mr. McMahon came out and asked the people if they wanted to see Bret Hart back in the WWE, in which he gleefully responded that he would never again be seen in the WWE. McMahon had referred to Bret Hart as a used piece of gum that's lost its flavor, and questioned the profitability of his return.

Last week, The Undertaker looked deep inside McMahon's soul and stated "You Screwed, Bret." Yes, Taker was present backstage for when the infamous Montreal Screwjob took place. And in a non-kayfabe sense, The Undertaker is usually knowledgeable of the happenings within the WWE, but this was purely between a select few. So when the incident occurred and made its way backstage, Taker asked Michaels, "Did you know about this?" The Undertaker is as intimidating and respected in real life as he is in the ring, in which Michaels responded that he was aware.

Triple-H advised McMahon that if he did not bring Bret Hart back to the WWE, he would be labeled a coward, and that Bret would be seen as a hero. If McMahon would have just set aside his ego for one night and made nice with Bret, the situation would have ended.

John Cena came out and delivered a phenomenal promo. A few months ago, when Roddy Piper guest hosted RAW, McMahon treated him with the utmost disrespect; and on January 4th, McMahon kicked Bret in the guts. So is this what happens to the great men and women who have dripped their blood, sweat, and tears into this business? A pat on the back, and a get the hell out of my sight? So are all the wrestlers people or commodities to line up McMahon's wallet and fill his ego? Cena goaded McMahon into bringing Bret Hart back, after issuing a warning for the the year 2035, when McMahon is 90 years-old, and John Cena has lost his flavor, would find McMahon and pick him from his wheel chair and shove his false dentures down his throat.
Bret Hart deserves a chance to confront McMahon face to face, and next week - Bret Hart will get that chance.

Mid-Carders on Becoming Superstars

The following match, issued by guest host Dulé Hill, was a display of the two up-and-coming superstars of the WWE - The Miz and Kofi Kingston.

Kofi Kingston, one of the more impressive former United States Champions, did not get his big push until he started feuding with Randy Orton. Kingston's momentum sky rocketing after delivering a passionate promo, while defacing Orton's car; dropping the Boom Drop over an unconscious Orton sprawled on a table at MSG; and defeating two former World Champions within seconds of each other at the Survivor Series to become the sole survivor. However, in their last few encounters, Randy Orton has come out on top and the feud seems to have ended. So what's next for Kofi Kingston? A return back to the U.S. Title picture? WWE should think of something quick, before the momentum dissipates.

As for The Miz, he has evolved from his days on The Real World by becoming his own man. No longer needing the support of John Morrison, The Miz delivers his own promos, reinvented his wardrobe, got a new entrance theme, and carries around his first singles title. Miz is clearly elevating himself as a major superstar in the WWE, while remaining in the appropriate setting of the mid-card title to do so.

Then comes MVP, when he first arrived on RAW, he shocked the world by challenging then-WWE Champion Randy Orton. The intensity and passion that MVP brought on that first night brought hope to the mid-card division, but after the first few weeks, that intensity vanished. MVP wasted his time on The View with Sherrie Shepherd, and loosing two U.S. Title matches against The Miz, with little-to-no build up on either match. This time around, MVP and Miz are building up on a steady paced background to base their feud on. MVP is starting to ignite the passion he once had when he became the United States Champion in 2007; and after The Miz was pinned by Kofi Kingston, it was apparent that Miz is fully aware of the threat that MVP poses to the United States Title.

Jack Swagger to feud with Santino Marella?

The past two weeks, Santino Marella has thwarted Jack Swagger's momentum going into the Royal Rumble; but this week, before challenging Carlito to a match, Jack Swagger attacked and destroyed Santino Marella. Not only did Swagger toss Santino over the top rope, but he DDT'ed Marella into the turnbuckle.

Is Santino Marella going to be pushed into a serious competitor, or is Swagger being downgraded to meaningless comedy? As for that DDT, Swagger is intent on making a name for himself come this Sunday.

Dulé Hill is no Psychic

The match between Alicia Fox and Gail Kim was so predictable that even a fake psychic could detect. Sadly, James Roday, who plays the fake psychic on PSYCH, was unable to co-host RAW, so Dulé, mostly due to hormones, predicted Alicia Fox as the winner. Fox lost the match to Gail Kim, and then reacted by slapping the holy hell out of Dulé.

The Divas' Title will be decided in the final match of the Divas' Tournament - Maryse versus Gail Kim. The date of that match is still TBA, but most likely on next week's RAW.

Let's Get Ready to Humble!

There are consequences for calling McMahon pathetic, even for guys like John Cena. Cena was placed in a non-title match against the man who defeated him for the WWE Title last month, Sheamus.

John Cena, despite his happy-go-lucky promos, compensates for his limited wrestling ability by raising his intensity in the ring to dangerous levels; that intensity has been matched, and possibly surpassed, by Sheamus.

Many may argue that Sheamus became the WWE Champion too early in his career, but no other superstar has been so dominate than the Celtic Warrior. WWE felt it imperative to remove Sheamus from ECW, where his talents would be underscored, and move him to the A-Show where he would hopefully help the business sky rocket to the top.

Sheamus may be stronger than Cena, as he managed to lay Cena out of the ring twice, almost winning by count-out, by Randy Orton cost Sheamus the match with an RKO. This was in response to the Boot to the Face that Sheamus delivered at the end of Orton's match last week.

And when Cena managed to pull himself to the ropes, Orton almost got him in a hanging DDT from the ropes, but Cena managed to get Orton in the Attitude Adjuster. Honestly, how was Cena able to find the strength to attack Orton with the Fireman's Carry? This is where the character of John Cena starts to lose it's flavor.

Dulé Hill's Celebrity Impact!

Initially advertised to be hosted by James Roday and Dulé Hill was only hosted by Dulé after James underwent an appendectomy over the weekend. It was obvious that WWE had no back up plan for Dulé Hill, as he went around causing trouble for himself - mainly from the WWE Divas. Contrary to Carlito's sentiments, Dulé Hill was not the greatest host of all time, he had no viable impact on the show.

Taker Declines Challenge

After a month of openly challenging The Undertaker for a rematch at WrestleMania, The Deadman made his way to Monday Night RAW in order to deliver his response in person; obviously it was a response that Mr. WreslteMania was not expecting. In his storied WrestleMania career, The Undertaker has fought and laid to rest every opponent that has dared to face him; and even though Shawn Michaels was the closest to breaking the streak... he still failed. The Undertaker has nothing to prove, but if Shawn Michaels wants his rematch, he will have to win this year's Royal Rumble. Shawn Michaels claims that when he does, not only will the streak be broken, but Undertaker's title and soul will belong to him.

Heder-Johnson Impact!

Miami Vice's Don Johnson and Napoleon Dynamite's John Heder guest hosted RAW, so what impact did they have? Well, Santino Marella was dressed up as Don Johnson because he is the President of the I.D.J.F.C., or the Italian Don Johnson Fan Club. And Carlito was found backstage dressed as Napoleon Dynamite. It would have been really great if Primo would have dressed like Pedro, but he hasn't been seen on RAW in months.

As for the celebrities themselves, John Heder made the most of his stay on RAW as he took on a heel persona. Don Johnson, meanwhile, wanted to give the people what they "wanted," DX in the main event; but John Heder introduced two men who would main event tonight's RAW... The Miz and The Big Show. Later on in the program, there was an altercation involving Hornswoggle that forced John Heder to participate in a six-man main event.

Viper Stares Down Sheamus

A few weeks ago, Evan Bourne challenged Sheamus for a contender's match; but since then, that honor has gone to Randy Orton. Evan Bourne didn't have much of a chance until Randy Orton made his way into the arena. Sheamus took his focus out of the match, allowing Bourne to almost get an upset. Sheamus quickly did away with Bourne with the Celtic Cross. Orton, clearly intimidated the WWE Champion who chose to leave the ring. Sheamus is just starting out in the WWE, but Orton is a seasoned veteran. Is Sheamus out of his league?

The Second All-American-American-Challenge

Jack Swagger stated that Santino's victory last week was a fluke and could not happen again. Santino, however, did not choose to face him again, but instead, had a suitable substitute... Mark Henry. If you haven't heard me say it before, I'll say it again, Jack Swagger, despite being a sure-fire main event one day, is stuck as a mid-carder with other mid-carders. Mark Henry is the next person to humiliate the All-American-American by bench pressing him over the ropes.

Cena-Kingston Seek Retribution

Last week, during the Triple Threat Match to determine Sheamus' opponent for the Royal Rumble, it was clear that Rhodes and DiBiase Jr. interfered in order for Orton to pick up the win. This week, John Cena and Kofi Kingston looked to get some much needed payback for Legacy costing them a shot at the WWE Title.

Cena started off the match, but Rhodes and DiBiase Jr. held their ground. When Kofi was tagged in, Legacy did everything possible to keep him from tagging in Mr. WWE. At certain points in the match, it almost seemed as if Legacy were lax about facing Kofi, as if he were not a threat. Well, they should have done away with Kofi because after Cena was tagged in, it was Kofi who would pin Rhodes with a flying cross body after being hit by the Attitude Adjuster. DiBiase Jr. did break Cena's cover, but he rolled out of the way to avoid being taken down by Kingston.

A major pop went out to the victory of Cena-Kingston, but friendship means nothing come the Royal Rumble. As for Legacy, Rhodes seemed bitter towards DiBiase Jr. for letting him take the fall. If this keeps up, they won't have to worry about friendship getting in the way for their Royal Rumble aspirations.

Eve's Phantom Kick

The following match was a Divas' Tag Team Match featuring Eve Torres and Gail Kim versus Alicia Fox and Maryse. The only wrestler in this match was Gail Kim, but sadly, she is downplayed so as not to overshadow the other women. Eve Torres, who has been paired with Chris Masters for the past month, has shown some ring-rust. She attempted a drop kick, and missed. Sure, that's not bad when you miss a move, but when your opponent reacts, then that becomes what is known as a Phantom move. Of course, both opponents quickly got up and executed the spot. Alicia Fox should not have reacted to the phantom kick, because the move never connected. Instead, everyone noticed and was the only thing anyone could think of. However, Eve Torres did get the pin on Alicia Fox, which is great for her, but that Phantom kick still bothers me.

Sheamus Sends a Message

The following match was Randy Orton against Chris Masters w/ Eve Torres. Orton was not deterred by Sheamus' presence at the ramp way, but he did manage to get himself caught in the 3rd attempted Master lock. The Master lock looked to be Orton's demise, but it turned into his salvation as Orton fell towards the ropes, breaking the hold, and striking with the RKO. Sheamus, though, entered the ring unnoticed and struck Orton with a big boot to the face. The audience was actually cheering for Randy Orton, which is a new change of pace seeing as he is a super heel, but the audience despises Sheamus more.

WWE Retaliates Against Ric Flair

The Big Show and The Miz mentioned how they would get John Heder some sweet ring gear; well... what can be more stylish than a knock-off of The Nature Boy's signature ornate fur-lined robe with sequins, sporting the ring name "The Flame."

Since departing from the WWE after his farewell send off at WrestleMania XXIV, Ric Flair has since been seen in ROH, wrestled in Australia in the main event of the Hulkamania Tour, and is currently signed with rival promotion TNA. There is also mention of Ric Flair returning to active wrestling duty in TNA against long-time rival Hulk Hogan. A return to the ring would be a disgrace to the send off that WWE gave him, but Flair has been in financial straits and relies on these paychecks to keep his head above water.

Ric Flair will always be The Man, but, enough is enough Flair, hang up the boots because it is just plain sad. Also, word is going around that AJ Styles will become the new protégé of Ric Flair, Styles has risen to the top without Flair and doesn't need him now.

The Flame is Extinguished

After a few rounds of weakening the opposition, the newly devised team of Miz and Show tagged in "The Flame" John Heder to take on Hornswoggle. Heder took off his robe, showing a paler complexion than Sheamus, and kicked around Hornswoggle, until Triple-H made his way in and knocked him out. Then a superkick by Shawn Michaels knocked out the Big Show to be laid out on top of Header. Then Hornswoggle was tagged in to strike with the tadpole splash followed by a cover on Header for the pin fall victory.

Triple-H's Message to Shawn

In two weeks, 30 participants will enter, but only one will leave with a World Title Shot at WrestleMania. What Triple-H has been trying to tell Michaels all night is that he needs to find another way to take on The Undertaker, because he's going to win the Rumble. Do I sense a disband of D-Generation-X? I believe so.

RAW Results: 12/28/09

Timbaland is Bland. The American Grammy Award-winning record producer/rapper stayed behind the scenes throughout the majority of the show. Timbaland is no stranger to the WWE since, on April 20, 2007, he recruited Maryse, Kelly Kelly, Layla, and former divas Torrie Wilson, Brooke, and Ashley Massaro to be filmed in his video, "Throw It on Me" featuring The Hives. But this time around, Timbaland was seen talking to the Bellas and Gail Kim, and the occasional Josh Matthews or enthusiastic superstar. Tim was promoting his new album Shock Value II, and having the divas lazily dance to the mellow tracks. The most Timbaland did was announce John Cena and Sheamus for the start of the WWE Championship main event but was not seen afterwards. Overall, Timbaland did not make an impression whatsoever. McMahon should be contracting former WWE superstars, instead of these celebrities, because they know how the business works.

Cena demands Tables Rematch. Former WWE Champion John Cena recaps how Sheamus became the WWE Champion by setting up a table adjacent to the turnbuckle. Cena, still not taking the champ seriously, demanded an immediate Tables Match as his rematch for the WWE Title. The Celtic Warrior declined and declared that it would occur at the end of the night in a regular wrestling match. Sheamus stated the reason for this is to prove that he can beat Cena in a non-stipulation match, and once he does... he would hold the WWE Title over Cena's body as the final image that the RAW audience would see in 2009.

Legacy faced with crossroads. After a year and a half, Randy Orton contemplated breaking up Legacy. This train of thought started last week when Legacy lost to Kingston, Bourne and Henry, a group of individuals who have never teamed together. Questions of the success rate soon followed, since Orton is not the WWE Champion nor Rhodes and DiBiase the Unified Tag Team Champions. Orton then issued each member to face off against a member from the team they lost to, to test whether or not Legacy would endure.

DiBiase and Rhodes reinstated. The first challenge issued by Orton was Ted DiBiase against Evan Bourne. It is no secret that DiBiase respects Orton, but he also resents him. At times, DiBiase wants to impress Orton, but he also wants to surpass him. Last week, Bourne showed some improvement, but also fell short when he exhausted all his high flying in a short amount of time. Another weakness of Bourne is his constant dependance on his high knee lifts and kicks; instead, he should be issuing more grapple holds to render the oponent for a move like Shooting Star Press. DiBiase kept Bourne grounded with a number of chin locks, a suplex, and finishing it off with Dream Street.

The second challenge was Cody Rhodes against Mark Henry. About a year ago, when Mark Henry was dominating the land of extreme as the ECW Champion, Cody Rhodes would not have had a chance, but now, it seemed like an easy feat. The reason for this is Mark Henry's weight. The man is close to pulling 400lbs, a lot for a man to lug around. He hasn't weight lifted since 2002, and since then he has suffered quadricep and knee injuries. Mark Henry walks around with two knee braces, which gave Cody a good target. Henry's endurance in the ring is terrible and he looked winded after two minutes. Mark Henry should take a leave of absence and shed about 150lbs, much like Big Show did between 2007-2008. Cody Rhodes took advantage of the deteriating health and knees of the once World's Strongest Man for the 3 count. And as a result of DiBiase and Rhodes winning their matches, Legacy will still be around after the New Year.

Ditzy Divas. The final RAW divas match for 2009 was a contest between Kelly Kelly and Maryse. Last week, Kelly Kelly pinned Maryse, with the assist from Divas' Champion Melina, in the Santa's Little Helper's Match; and this week, Maryse looked to rectify the situation. Kelly Kelly displayed confidence in the ring, connecting with drop kicks, cross bodies, and takedowns. Kelly's weakness is the Kelly Killer... it's killing her matches. It's not a credible move, who waits at the turnbuckle long enough for her to handspring across the ring to execute an elbow smash? Dodging the Kelly Killer, Maryse managed to apply French Kiss, thus ending the match.

“Only good things can happen.” Ever since Dennis Miller suggested Bret “The Hitman” Hart guest host RAW, the WWE Universe has been overzealous of the possibility that Canada’s favorite son, absent for twelve years, would finally make his triumphant return home to the WWE. Vince McMahon, no doubt anti-Hart, stated that Bret Hart would never guest host Monday Night RAW. Then enter the Heart Break Kid, the man who carried out the hit on The Hitman in the infamous – real life – Montreal Screw job. Shawn and Bret had an intense, well documented, rivalry on-and-off screen, culminating in Bret disgraced in the Molson Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; but when Michaels mentioned to McMahon that there are some rivalries that are bigger than this business, he wasn't talking about Bret. Shawn Michaels believes that he can end The Undertaker’s Streak, and demanded a rematch at WrestleMania. McMahon did not consent, but he did, however, announce that Bret Hart would indeed guest host. Why did he agree to this? Could it be that TNA will be going up against RAW next week with Hulk Hogan as their main powerhouse superstar? Or can it be, as Michaels said, it’s time for McMahon to get closure...?

Kingston mid-carder or superstar? Timbaland issued a match between Kofi Kingston and The Miz, with the promise of the match culminating to a U.S. Championship Match next week. Kingston seemed content with getting another shot at the mid-card title. MVP, who was present in the room, imposed a rematch for the U.S. Title if Kofi were to come out the victor, since, originally, Kofi defeated MVP for the strap. The current United States Champion The Miz found the whole matter humorous because Kofi, in Miz's opinion, will never become the United States Champion. Timbaland changed the stipulation for the night, if Kofi defeats Miz then the title match would occur, not next week but, immediately after the match. The contest between Miz and Kofi ended abruptly as Miz attempted a high-risk maneuver that found him Troubled in Paradise. The title match, that occurred right after, saw Kingston connect with Trouble in Paradise for the second time that evening. However, the referee was unable to call the 3-count being that Randy Orton pulled him out of the ring in order to assault Kingston. The onslaught resulted in a nasty RKO on to the concrete. So, is Kofi Kingston still a mid-carder? The Miz became the United States Champion by defeating Kofi Kingston several months ago, but tonight, Kofi was on a different level than The Miz. Warrant that, earlier in the evening, DiBiase and Rhodes defeated Evan Bourne and Mark Henry in an effort to prove that the team of Bourne, Henry, and Kofi are no match to Legacy, but it was Kofi who pinned DiBiase last week; hence, why Kofi's team was able to overcome Legacy. Because of his feud with Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston is escalating past the mid-card but not quite a headliner.

Jericho, move on. Through out the program Chris Jericho was seen protesting and petitioning outside the arena in Hartford, Connecticut, trying to get signatures for him to be featured on RAW. Chris Jericho, drafted over to SmackDown in the 2009 draft, has wrestled on the two main brands for months due to his liberties as one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions. But after losing both the TLC Match and the rematch, it is time to move on. Chris Jericho, for the most part, transcends the WWE and would benefit the business if he were to appear on all three shows, but things cannot stay the same forever. Jericho claimed he was doing this for Big Show, but he just wants to be on RAW. Nothing against SmackDown, since it does have the better wrestlers, but RAW has been the top tier program for the WWE for the past sixteen years; and any wrestler would want to wrestle on the top brand. In a close emotional scene between two former tag team partners, Big Show conveyed that he had found someone else. And that someone else was Chavo Guerrero, who teamed with Show to take on D-Generation X in a losing effort. Chris Jericho, who was present as a ticket holder during the match, jumped over the barricade to the aid of his former tag team partner. Triple H announced that next week, Jeri-Show would get another crack at the titles, with the promise that after they lose Jericho is never allowed on RAW - "never... EEEEEVVVERRR Againe...."

Sheamus on top of the WWE mountain. The WWE Championship Match where many believed would be Cena's night ended in disqualification. The WWE Champion Sheamus proves why he is at the top of the mountain because he is able to scout and counter Cena's moves. John Cena matches are a set formula, he builds momentum and he hits with the running bulldog... followed by the 5-knuckle shuffle... a few open fist punches... maybe a top rope leg drop... eventually going into an STF or an Attitude Adjuster. At the start of the match, Sheamus managed to knock Cena in mid-running bulldog. And to futher testify Sheamus' in-ring prowess, he dominated Cena by thrashing his back with a series of punches. The match would have ended with John Cena the WWE Champion, but thanks to Sheamus grabbing on to the referee's shirt during the Attitude Adjustment, that did not occur. Trying to build momentum to the next encounter, Cena ran up the ramp and grabbed Sheamus and tossed him back in the ring. Every time Cena does this, he rolls back into the ring to connect with the Attitude Adjuster, but instead, Sheamus delivered a boot to the face as soon as Cena entered. Sheamus shocked the WWE Universe, and if that did not get the attention of John Cena, then a second boot to the face sure did. Sheamus might not have won the match as he wanted, but he did manage to retain his title and appear, holding the championship, as the final image on RAW 2009.

RAW Results: 12/21/09

Johnny Damon Strikes Out. Formerly on the New York Yankees, this free agent knew less how the wrestling business worked than Dennis Miller. WWE announcer, Justin Roberts, announced two-time MLB World Series Champion Johnny Damon to a jeering Tampa audience. He tried to play it cool by stating his past accomplishments with the Yankees and Red Sox, but he came off as insolent. After issuing a foreseeable Santa's Little Helpers Divas' Match, Damon stayed away from the ring throughout the rest of the night. Instead, he appeared in a series of back stage scenes involving Santa Clauses advising wrestling matches, and one undesirable makeout session with Santa's oldest helper, Mae Young. If not for the holiday gimmicks, Johnny Damon's lack of charisma would have been apparent.

RAW Divas are cute, not athletes. The opening match was a Six-Diva Santa’s Little Helper Tag Team Match, involving: Divas' Champion Melina, Kelly Kelly, and Gail Kim against Maryse, Alicia Fox, and Jillian Hall. There is very little intergrity left when it comes to the women of the WWE, and chances are, they know it too. Melina, who in the past year, has improved immensly after her feuds with Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, stands alone as RAW's only competitor. Gail Kim, a former WWE Women's Champion, and headliner/champion of the TNA Knockout division, returned to the WWE last summer as a mid-carder. Gail Kim's status has not changed, as her role is still to carry the match and then lose at the last minute. WWE should utlize Gail Kim instead of having her job to the likes of Alicia and Maryse. Kelly Kelly, nicknamed Barbie, was actually a model who the WWE insisted should join pro-wrestling. This suggests that WWE is focused on looks rather than athleticism. Jerry Lawler, unknowingly, demeaned Kelly Kelly's offensive strike, "She did a drop kick!" Even the announcers are shocked when a diva actually shows some sign of athletic offense. Thanks to the assist from Melina, Kelly Kelly scored the pinfall on Maryse.

Evan Bourne, most underrated superstar of 2009. This Six-Man Tag Team Match featured Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry & Evan Bourne against Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. This was one of those matches where the years of watching these superstars grow into formiable opponents really pays off; Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, and Evan Bourne were among these opponents. Yet, Evan Bourne is among the most underrated superstar - and not just in the WWE - but throughout his whole pro-wrestling career. Since arriving in WWE in late 2008, on the ECW brand, Bourne became an instant fan favorite, even winning a Slammy for Best Finishing Maneuver of 2008. However, that's about all Bourne has accomplished and the reason for this is his fast paced, high octane style of wrestling is short lived. When tagged in, Bourne was able to jump over the ropes, perform a hurricanrana on Rhodes, knock out Orton and DiBiase out of the corner with one kick, and set Rhodes up for the Shooting Star Press - all in under three minutes. What happens when that doesn't get the job done? This is why Bourne jobs to everyone because he is flashy, but cannot last in a full match. His matt wrestling skills is below par, and unless he faces off against another high flyer, Bourne will always be at a disadvantage. Luckily, Kofi Kingston was tagged in and picked up the win after executing Trouble in Paradise to the back of DiBiase's head.

Jack Swagger is the Future. The next match was John Cena vs. Jack Swagger. Unlike Sheamus who uses brute force to intimidate his opponents, Jack Swagger combines his 6'5" stature and his All-American wrestling background to takedown the competition. His opponent for the night was no stranger to Swagger seeing as these two fought in a Champions vs. Champions match during the 2009 Draft picks. John Cena, who has vowed to never lose a match until he reclaims the WWE Title, did not have it easy against the Perry Oklahoman. Jack Swagger dominated the match, not just in keeping John Cena down on his knees, because he is the better wrestler. Correction, Jack Swagger is a wrestler with charisma, while John Cena makes up for his lack of wrestling with more charisma than anyone else. Jack Swagger, in four months in the WWE, became the ECW Champion - all for what? To become a mid-carder on Monday Night RAW. Much like everyone else, it was thrilling to see Sheamus defeat John Cena for the WWE Championship, but honestly, it was too much too soon. Despite being the one to take the WWE Title, Sheamus and Cena really have no back story. Swagger, on the other hand, has the ability to rise up the ranks of the WWE and truly become the poster boy for the company. Swagger has the makings to become a phenomenal WWE Champion because he's the complete package: a larger-than-life persona and the technical skills to back it up. The match was great because Jack Swagger made it great, but again, the best man must fall in order to fuel the passion of John Cena.

Eve finds her man. Since coming over to RAW as a result of the Tri-Branded Divas Trade, WWE has been trying to administer Eve Torres in a valet role. At first, a short stint started between The Miz and Jack Swagger over the United States Title and Eve's affection; but after Miz won the title, the angle was dropped and Eve remained single. Then Chris Masters returned to the WWE, undergoing a babyface turn when he instilled the dancing pectorals as part of his gimmick. Along with the turn, Chris Masters practices chivalry, especially when it comes to protecting Eve from the likes of Chavo Guerrero and Carlito. The match between Carlito and Chris Masters was not about Carlito's past aggressions with Masters, but his disrespect towards Eve. Carlito was able to avoid the first Master Lock attempt, but the second one rendered him unconscious. After the match, Eve pulled out a mistletoe and gave Masters a kiss, starting a relationship. As romantic as this angle is, unless Masters trains Eve to be a better wrestler, she benefits nothing from this story line.

"What's underneath the ring, Shawn?" Many mysteries remain unsolved in the WWE, such as: "Where is Parts Unknown?" and "Why the Gobbledy Gooker?" But the most mysterious one of all is the space underneath the ring, what's really down there? Finally, it was revealed on Monday Night RAW when DX went to Little People's Court. In the past, Hornswoggle had hidden under the ring to escape opponents; The Bella Twins hid in order to alternate during singles matches; The Boogeyman lurked in the shadows to trap victims; and, followed by flames, The Undertaker chokeslammed Edge straight through the mat, implying hell resides below the squared circle. Shwan and Triple H traveled underneath the ring to find an underground passage, alike basements in any building, and went to a court hearing where they were found guilty for intentional infliction of emotional distress towards Hornswoggle. And now a new mystery has arisen, why cannot the little people in WWE speak?

John Cena overshadows WWE Champion? Unlike other superstars who demand championship matches, Montel Vontavious Porter preferred to earn his by taking on the Celtic Warrior in one-on-one competition. At any rate, Sheamus vs. MVP could have been a great follow up to Swagger and Cena, but the match turned into an exhibition of Sheamus' intense capacity in the ring. The Miz that stole Christmas. 2009 has been an overall great year for The Miz from being part of one of the greatest tag teams and holding both WWE and World Tag Team Titles... Being drafted over to RAW... Entering a feud with John Cena... Losing a match causing him to be banned from RAW... Winning a contract back to RAW as the Calgary Kid... Revamping his attitude and wrestling gear, and now... The United States Champion. However, it's not enough for the Miz because he also wants to be the WWE Champion. The following match was The Miz vs. Santino Clause. Santino Marella, chosing to fight in his Santa garb, lost miserably to The Miz, who picked up the win with the Skull Crushing Finale.

One wish to rule them all... Johnny Damon promised that one wish would be granted and so far that hadn't happened, but could the Big Show get his wish? Calling out for the real Santa Clause, Big Show looked on as Santa Clause came, accompanied by the Bella Twins, to the ring willing to grant one wish. Big Show wished for Chris Jericho to come back to RAW, and Santa agreed. But before the fans could bring back their RAW is Jericho signs, Hornswoggle demasked Father Christmas to reveal Chris Jericho. If that were not enough, Hornswoggle rallied a miniature DX army of little people to take down Jericho. But before Jericho could fully clear the DX elves, the real DX disposed of Jeri-Show. Seeing as Jericho was Santa Clause, he has no power to reinstate himself as an agent of RAW, so Show's wish was nullified. As for Hornswoggle and DX's court issues, Triple H propositioned a deal: If Hornswoggle would drop the law suit, then he can be the faction's mascot. Hornswoggle agreed and initiated in his first official DX Crotch Chopping pyro routine.
