Randy Orton's Legacy is no Evolution

Randy Orton was the youngest member of Evolution and after the betrayal from his team mates, it is only natural that Orton would want to create a faction better than Evolution. Yet, Evolution, throughout, saw Triple H as a 5-time World Heavyweight Champion, Ric Flair and Batista as 2-time World Tag Team Champions, Batista as the 2005 Royal Rumble winner, Ric Flair and Orton each reigning as the Intercontinental Champion at one point, and Orton as the World Heavyweight Champion - resulting into a beatdown from leader Triple H and crew.

In 2008, after much criticism on the part of Orton, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes made the cut to be a part of Legacy with hopes of elevating in the business. Well, it has been a year and a half and the only person who has truly benefited was Orton with three WWE Title reigns and the winner of the 2009 Royal Rumble.

However, despite not seeing tag team gold, DiBiase and Rhodes have become household names and were not forgotten like Sim Snuka and Manu, the two that didn't make it on Legacy. DiBiase and Rhodes even became more respected as wrestlers during their feud with D-Generation X during last summer into the early fall. Truthfully, Legacy may not be as successful as Evolution but Orton did get his revenge on Triple H by attacking his father-in-law, his brother-in-law, and even his wife; and wasn't this what it was all about?
