Hardy Seeks Retribution; Undertaker Returns to Smackdown

At the start of Smackdown, the audience rejoiced once again as they heard Jeff Hardy's Entrance Music and pyro shooting up from the ground - only to be severely disappointed.

Coming down the ramp was the new World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk - dressed like Jeff Hardy.

Mocking Jeff - the man how he forced out of the WWE after beating him in a Loser Leaves WWE Steel Cage Match, last Friday Night - CM Punk flailed about the ring in Hardy fashion.

He went on about how it should be a relief that know the WWE Universe can have a Champion to be proud of, but who would've known that the guy preaching about the dangers of smoking could be a bad guy?

Yet, we cheer for the screw-ups and failures instead of embracing in the knowledge that Punk bestows on the Smackdown audience.

Punk rubbed the face paint and tore off the arm sleeves - and gloated how he got rid of Jeff Hardy from the WWE forever - but what Punk forgot - there's still a Hardy left on this show.

Matt Hardy entered the arena and assaulted Punk, pummeling his face into the canvas.

Officials came to separate the two, but not long after the incident that Teddy Long announced the main event to be a Non-Title match against Matt Hardy.

Now, Matt Hardy should not even be contending in WWE right now. Not too long ago, did his intestines busted out of his stomach lining that he's back in the WWE ring.

If you notice that Matt has put on some weight, well that's because he was unable to train while he was healing from surgery.

The whole stomach lining has been a problem for Matt ever since he was a kid - it didn't become an issue until he got his appendicitis early 2008. The appendix surgery irritated the intestines to a fatal degree.

But what could Matt do? He was being offered the United States and the ECW Championship - and also to feud with his brother and win on the grandest Stage of them all WrestleMania!

Who could blame him?

Matt should take more time off to get into the shape that he wants to be in; and WWE should take more care of him seeing as he is the last Hardy left on the show.

The Punk-Hardy match was good - with Punk focusing on the abdominal region, seeing as it would cause the most damage to his opponent.

Punk may have done away with one Hardy, but as long as Matt's around, the name will live on.

The match could have gone differently, but Punk DQed himself by striking Matt with a steel chair.

Yes, Matt Hardy did win the match - the hammer was not available to ring, but the ref did call for the bell.

Before Punk could get too out of hand, The Undertaker appeared in a flash and chokeslammed Punk through the Smackdown Announce Table.

CM Punk may think that he has the upper hand on all of his opponents - but come this Sunday, we will see if Punk has what it takes to make the Undertaker tap out.
