Khali Reaches Breaking Point; Dolph Ziggler Breaks Down Paterson

The Giants did battle once again, this time with Singapore canes. This is actually a submission type match, but WWE did not carry it out as one.

In a Singapore cane match, one much severely beat their opponent that he cannot get up. That’s a true Singapore match, but, instead, WWE used it as their focal foreign object allowed in the match – with Kane pinning the Great Khali.

On WWE Superstars, Kane destroyed Jimmy Wang Yang and attacked him with a cane – to show what pain he can cause. While Khali was set to fight DH Smith, Kane crashed the match and attacked Khali – until Khali delivered the Punjabi Plunge and stood tall.

However, Khali fell once again because of his weakest link – Runjin Singh, who interfered with the match and attacked Kane with a cane. It serves Singh right, he cost Khali the match. Kane is now 2-0 against Khali.

The WWE Universe were treated to the presence of a Montreal-native and WWE’s first-ever Intercontinental Champion, Pat Paterson. He spoke to the fans until he was interrupted by #1 Contender, Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler started criticizing Paterson’s involvement with anything relevant with the WWE, and first Bob Barker and now Paterson – what is WWE running a senior citizen’s convention?

The audience started chanting ugly words to Ziggler, but it only fueled the Platinum haired superstar to kick Paterson down to his knees.

It wasn’t long that the current Intercontinental Champion came to the aid of the inaugural champion. John Morrison showing respect to the linage of the IC title sees to it that Paterson is ok – while giving a disgusted look to the actions of his new found opponent.
