Zack Ryder faced a local jobber by the name of Rory Fargo - expected to be a quick match, takes a turn for the worst.Ryder slaps Fargo around, until Fargo goes for the quick roll-up - attempting a major upset and serious notice for a possible WWE contract.
Ryder not too happy about the move started to attack Fargo and shouting "Are you trying to embarrass me?"
It was reported by online sources that WWE had to edit this match for viewership because of a wardrobe malfunction, I believe I know why.
Ryder pulled Rory's trunks by the front in order to pull him towards the ropes. However, Ryder pulled them down - giving a peep show.
Ryder just plain humiliated Rory Fargo. Not only did he destroy him in the ring, but also exposed Fargo's genitals to the ECW audience.
In the ECW GM office, Regal speaks with Tiffany on the actions of Tommy Dreamer and Christian last week - acting his men with kendo sticks. Tiffany rules it as fair, while Regal calls it an act of desperation, because they know their time on ECW is nearing to an end, while he has formed a new coalition that will change the face of ECW forever.
William Regal is by far a better promoter than Christian ever will be. Christian's success has been lost ever since his days as tag team champions with Edge. Christian lacks Edge's charisma and right now Regal seems primed to rule ECW.
The main event is Kozlov and Jackson vs. Christian and Tommy Dreamer.
Jackson getting more ring time - and is able to show the WWE Universe what he's capable of by flexing his muscles...?
No, Jackson actually applies several variations to a double under hook submission that forces the opponent's shoulder blades together - bone to bone! It may appear tedious to keep applying this hold, but this weakens Christian's arms - meaning it'll be harder to apply the Killswitch.
When Dreamer was tagged in, he dominated the ring with a cross body and a running bulldog that kept Ezekiel Jackson down. This is the most aggressive that I have seen Tommy Dreamer as of late.
However, despite a good show of force, Dreamer is pinned by Jackson with the Ura-Nage, and then he is placed in The Regal Stretch!
Hopefully this Sunday at Breaking Point, we get to see a full-length ECW Match rather than an 8-second Suck Fest!
William Regal appears to be ready to take the next step in becoming the ECW Champion.
